Mark III Construction is seeking a Journeyman Plumber Level II that are Skilled and Trained and can proved they graduated from an approved apprenticeship for work on commercial/industrial projects in the Sacramento and surrounding area. Plumbers will perform tasks associated with the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.

We support projects from initial concept through long-term maintenance, with specialized expertise in healthcare, higher education, industrial, life science, and technology markets.

Our integrated, big-picture approach allows us to self-perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, process piping, prefabrication, and MEP design. By consolidating these services under one organization, clients benefit from reduced profit layers, minimized scope gaps, and simplified project schedules—working with a single, accountable partner rather than multiple consultants and subcontractors.

Headquartered in Sacramento, California, Mark III operates throughout California and Nevada. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility serves as a centralized hub supporting five core trades: HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, electrical, and metal-stud framing. To support our continued growth, we just relocating from our office of 50 years to our new 340,000-square-foot headquarters at 2031 Optisolar Lane, on October 19th 2026.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience or a combination of field experience and education in the trade.
  • Must be able to read and understand construction documents and schedules
  • Understands the entire scope of the job
  • Able to manage portions of projects and be the “right hand” to the Foreman
  • Capable of forecasting tasks and materials
  • Must be knowledgeable of relevant codes and regulations
  • Capable of doing basic take offs
  • Able to prepare equipment and tool lists
  • Experience working on large complex projects
  • Prefer experience in working with coordinated models and installing prefabricated systems based on shop drawings.
  • Certification in the operation of equipment and/or in other pertinent areas is a plus
  • Ability to take initiative and be self sufficient
  • Safety focused at all times
  • Possess leadership and mentorship skills
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Able to collaborate with other trades and have the “Power of One” mindset

  • Must have OSHA 10 or 30

  • Required to reach forward, grab, grasp, pinching, handle material and tools using upper extremities
  • Required to lift objects from low to high positions in horizontal to vertical motions
  • Required to talk, express, or exchange detailed, important information by means of verbal communication.
  • Constantly Required to hear sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to hear detailed information and distinguish sounds to avoid hazards.
  • Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
