Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly professional, and customer-service-oriented Site Manager to oversee security operations at a prestigious, high-end property. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of security, professionalism, and guest services while ensuring the property operates in a safe, welcoming, and secure environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a polished professional presence. This role requires someone who understands that security in a luxury environment extends beyond traditional security responsibilities and includes providing an elevated concierge experience.

The Site Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for security personnel, property management, tenants, and visitors while ensuring all security procedures and operational expectations are consistently maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Professional Conduct and Guest Services (Concierge Focus)

  • Exemplary Professional Presence: Maintain a consistently polished, professional appearance and immaculate uniform, serving as a positive and credible first impression for the property.
  • Proactive Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for building occupants and guests, providing proactive assistance, clear directions, and timely information with an outgoing, engaging, and hospitable demeanor.
  • Tenant Relations: Professionally and promptly assist tenants with building-related inquiries, access issues, and security concerns, establishing positive rapport and escalating complex matters as necessary.
  • Visitor Management: Efficiently manage visitor sign-in/sign-out procedures, verify identities, issue temporary badges, and announce guest arrivals in accordance with established security protocols.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Consistently deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality when interacting with tenants, VIP guests, and property representatives.

2. Site Management and Leadership

  • Daily Operations: Oversee daily security operations to ensure all assigned posts are properly staffed, operational expectations are met, and site procedures are followed.
  • Personnel Supervision: Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to assigned security personnel, ensuring employees maintain professional standards and fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Scheduling and Attendance: Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, shift coverage, and scheduling needs. Address staffing gaps promptly and coordinate coverage as necessary.
  • Training and Development: Ensure security personnel are properly trained on site-specific procedures, customer service expectations, emergency response protocols, and post orders.
  • Performance Management: Conduct routine performance observations, provide constructive feedback, address performance concerns, and recognize employees who consistently meet or exceed expectations.
  • Policy Enforcement: Ensure all personnel comply with company policies, client expectations, site-specific procedures, and applicable security regulations.
  • Client Communication: Maintain consistent communication with property management and company leadership regarding staffing, daily operations, security concerns, and overall site performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct routine inspections of security personnel, assigned posts, uniforms, equipment, and operational procedures to ensure service standards are consistently maintained.

3. Security and Loss Prevention Operations

  • Access Control: Strictly enforce building access control policies, ensuring every individual (tenant, vendor, or visitor) follows proper entry procedures, including key card and badge usage. Prevent unauthorized entry and tailgating.
  • Foot Patrols: Conduct regular, documented security patrols of the property's interior and exterior perimeter, including common areas, parking garages, and vacant tenant spaces. Identify and report safety hazards and security vulnerabilities.
  • Surveillance and Monitoring: Proficiently operate and monitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, alarm panels, and other life safety systems, identifying and responding to unusual activities.
  • Emergency Response: Serve as a primary responder to alarms and critical incidents, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, suspicious activities, and unauthorized persons. Follow established emergency procedures and coordinate with property management and first responders.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify potential security risks, suspicious activity, and vulnerabilities while implementing appropriate preventative measures to protect the property, occupants, and assets.

4. Documentation and Incident Management

  • Report Writing: Prepare detailed, accurate, and professional written reports covering security-related incidents, daily activities, unusual occurrences, and patrol observations using required digital platforms.
  • Critical Incident Escalation: Immediately and effectively escalate critical incidents and emergencies to the appropriate property management representatives, security contacts, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Key and Access Card Control: Assist with the accurate inventory and issuance of building keys and access cards. Ensure documentation remains current and credentials for terminated personnel are promptly deactivated and reconciled.
  • Daily Activity Reports: Maintain accurate daily activity logs, shift summaries, staffing records, and other required operational documentation.
  • Incident Follow-Up: Monitor outstanding security concerns and incident reports to ensure appropriate follow-up, communication, and resolution.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Previous experience in security supervision, security management, or a similar leadership position.
  • Experience working in a high-end commercial, residential, corporate, hospitality, or concierge environment preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
