Huck's VP Operations - Regional Job Title: Regional Vice President Location: Carmi, ILReports To: Executive Vice President of Operations

Job Purpose: Huck’s Market, a leading convenience store, is committed to providing fresh food and dispensed beverages along with exceptional, friendly customer service. The Regional Vice President is responsible for executing current business plans and programs across multiple stores. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Store Managers, Operations, Corporate Leadership, and Marketing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Team Development:

Recruit and develop strong store management teams through networking, coaching, teaching, performance evaluation, and leading by example. Ensure all training requirements are achieved at all levels.

Operational Excellence:

Train and improve P&L performance by location and region. Continually train and enforce alcohol and tobacco sales laws and policies. Continually train and enforce gaming laws and policies where gaming is offered. Develop personnel management and supervisory technical skills.

Communication:

Serve as the communication link between the corporate office and stores. Interface with Human Resources, Payroll, Marketing, Fuel, Accounting, Food Service, Construction, Maintenance, IT, CWD, and Logistics departments.

Management and Coordination:

Organize and coordinate managers' vacation schedules. Monitor assigned stores for adherence to corporate standards for housekeeping, product display, sanitation, security, accounting procedures, and safety; correct as necessary. Enforce company policies and procedures. Institute and enforce set schedules for each assigned store.

Sales and Growth:

Lead store managers in planning for sales and profit growth through customer satisfaction and market awareness. Introduce new items and strategies to the company. Ensure the validity and timeliness of monthly Best In Class price checks. Analyze statistical data and reports, then take corrective action as indicated.

Financial Management:

Assure proper and timely cash handling and paperwork procedures. Recommend and implement fuel pricing strategies and tactics. Control expenses, achieve sales volume, and control labor, cash, and inventory loss. Obtain profitability and return on investment goals. Ensure the timeliness of all paperwork and deposits at the store level. Verify the completion of all performance reviews and terminations.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure the safety of Store Managers, Associates, and Customers while in our stores. Control labor dollars/hours of assigned stores.

Miscellaneous:

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing execution or convenience store operations. Proven ability to lead and inspire teams. Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset. Track record of successful management of a multi-unit team.
