Senior Executive - Finished Goods Warehouse (Based at Vidiyal-Kilinochchi)

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the team as a Senior Executive-Finished Good Warehouse. This role will enable you to proactively follow through on executing operational duties in a timely and accurate manner to ensure monitoring and controlling processes of the inflow & outflow of finished goods is achieved in adherence to the set standards thereby support the manufacturing unit and division achieve set business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working in the current capacity, the incumbent is required to ensure adherence to organizational standards and work cohesively with all stakeholders within the ecosystem to support the manufacturing facility in achieving its set objectives within the stipulated timeframe and parameters.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards, warehouse processes, procedures, STWs (Standardized Worksheets), and SOPs while maintaining accurate and timely inventory management to support business objectives efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to the LSW (Leader Standard Work) to facilitate the smooth flow of work and achievement of set and daily KPIs.
  • Proactively ensure daily start-up meetings are conducted to facilitate problem-solving and timely rectification of identified issues.
  • Develop a weekly schedule to ensure Finished Goods Warehouse processes are effectively planned and managed.
  • Ensure daily follow-ups with Production on shipment completions and proactively identify and highlight any deviations to management to minimize disruptions and ensure a seamless flow within the manufacturing facility.
  • Monitor shipment preparation by coordinating transportation requirements and liaising with relevant parties to ensure high-quality goods are delivered accurately, on time, and in adherence to business and customer standards.
  • Proactively reduce Finished Goods (FG) stocks by promptly communicating early-completed orders to the Planning and Business teams for shipment approval and coordinating with relevant parties to clear remaining FG stocks upon order completion.
  • Maintain the required direct-to-indirect cadre ratio while identifying work trends and process improvement opportunities to ensure an effective workload balance within the department.
  • Leverage technical and business acumen to proactively identify and anticipate issues, working collaboratively with Senior Management and cross-functional teams to resolve them before escalation and minimize production downtime.
  • Ensure all aspects of the Finished Goods Warehouse comply with Health, Safety, and Compliance guidelines to maintain a zero-accident environment.
  • Train, develop, and guide Executives and staff-grade employees on RM-related activities to ensure they possess the required capabilities to achieve set objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and manage day-to-day operational activities with minimal supervision.
  • Cross-functional experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good follow-up and coordination skills.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Good negotiation and influencing skills.
