Your Role at Delta Faucet:

Purpose

The Accountant – Commercial Accounting plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results for Delta Faucet Company’s Trade business. This position owns accounting activities related to customer rebates and commercial programs, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, gross-to-net activity, and financial analysis.

More than a traditional accounting role, this position serves as a trusted partner to FP&A, Trade, and Finance leadership, helping translate commercial activity into accurate financial results, providing insights into performance, and strengthening accounting processes and controls.

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to combine technical accounting expertise with meaningful business partnership. You’ll gain exposure to Finance and Trade leadership, develop a deep understanding of the commercial side of the business, and help ensure customer programs and commercial decisions are appropriately reflected in our financial results.

You’ll also have the opportunity to identify improvements, solve complex accounting issues, and help shape how commercial accounting processes and reporting evolve at Delta Faucet Company.

What You’ll Do

  • Own accounting for Trade gross-to-net activity, including customer rebates, incentives, and commercial programs.
  • Manage month-end accounting activities related to Trade Channel sales, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyze year-over-year and period-over-period variances, investigate underlying drivers, and communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Own and lead monthly financial reviews with Finance leadership, including analysis of balance sheet activity and key variances.
  • Serve as an accounting partner to FP&A and Trade, providing guidance on the accounting implications of customer programs, forecasts, planned commercial activity, and budgets.
  • Review customer contracts and provide accounting analysis and guidance to Contract Administration, FP&A, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Apply GAAP, ASC 606, and Masco accounting policies to Trade-related accounting activity.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to support audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting requirements and internal controls.
  • Maintain and update accounting narratives and supporting documentation in accordance with SOX requirements.
  • Provide accounting and deduction support to the Credit team.
  • Identify root causes of accounting or reporting issues and recommend effective, sustainable solutions.
  • Lead opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, reporting, and financial insights.
  • Perform ad hoc accounting and financial analysis to support business and Finance leadership needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3+ years of corporate accounting, public accounting, or other relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and demonstrated ability to apply accounting principles to business transactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate accounting concepts and financial information effectively to both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound professional judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a changing business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CMA, or MBA.
  • Experience with ASC 606 and revenue recognition.
  • Experience with customer rebates, incentives, commercial programs, or gross-to-net accounting.
  • Experience working in a corporate accounting or public accounting environment.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and internal controls.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with FP&A, Sales/Trade, or other commercial functions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
