  • Mentor, coach, supervise, and develop Superintendents and other field personnel.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Attend client meetings and provide regular project updates.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen long-term client relationships and support future business opportunities.

Safety & Quality

  • Champion Matheson's Health & Safety Program and promote a strong safety culture on every project.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, OHSA regulations, and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and site records.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout construction and oversee project deficiencies through completion.

Field Administration

  • Complete and review daily site diaries.
  • Prepare timesheets, purchase orders, labour quantities, invoices, packing slips, reports, and project correspondence.
  • Record and maintain accurate As-Built documentation.
  • Assist with project reporting and documentation as required.

Project Closeout

  • Lead final inspections and deficiency management.
  • Coordinate warranty work and project turnover.
  • Manage site demobilization activities.
  • Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately for closeout.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, quality control, and cost management.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and field teams simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project administration.
  • Experience working within unionized environments and interpreting collective agreements.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and construction regulations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
