Contribute to the development of scalable costing methodologies, cost knowledge, and category-level cost insights that support sustainable cost leadership. Working closely with Product Development, Design, Sourcing, Finance, and Manufacturing teams, you will help ensure products achieve cost targets while maintaining quality, performance, and consumer value.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Prepare cost analyses to support design decisions, supplier negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Evaluate product, tooling, packaging, and manufacturing costs to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Partner with Product Development and Design teams to balance cost, quality, and performance objectives.
  • Participate in Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities to achieve target costs and help identify opportunities for broader application of best practices across products and platforms.
  • Support cost publishing and reporting at key project milestones.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to understand cost drivers and recommend improvements.
  • Support the standardization and continuous improvement of cost engineering methodologies, tools, and reporting practices.
  • Assist in the development of scalable cost estimation tools, cost models, and knowledge repositories that improve consistency, transparency, and decision-making.
  • Work closely with Sourcing, Finance, and Product Development teams to support business decision-making and product profitability.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in cost engineering, product development, manufacturing, sourcing, or a related function.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in product costing, BOM analysis, and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of plastics, injection molding, tooling, and consumer product manufacturing is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify cost drivers, synthesize insights, and communicate recommendations that support product and business decision-making.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
