The posting

Name of Authority: Guangyang Secondary School

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.

Option period: First option: 1 January to 31 December 2028. Second option: 1 January to 31 December 2029.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• School term: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.

• Examination period (approximately 14 days, subject to change): 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.

• June, November and December school holidays: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.

• Hours may vary with school needs; school activities may require support beyond normal hours.

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Requirements:

The following skills and experience are preferred:

• Relevant school experience; experience in high-volume hospital, hotel or catering food services may also be considered.

• Spoken and written English, with good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work responsibly, independently and with attention to detail.

Job Scopes:

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Prepare, clean, cut and distribute ingredients for Nutrition and Food Science lessons.

2. Clean the Needlework Room, kitchen workstations, utensils and floors.

3. Maintain inventories of equipment and ingredients and simple logistical records.

4. Support school activities and other assigned duties.

5. During school holidays, assist the General Office with printing, reception, filing and shredding.
