Salary Range

$20.72-$29.01/hour

Compensation is determined by several factors, including location, relevant experience, skill level, and internal equity. Please note, we don’t typically hire above midpoint.

Job Description

The Human Resource Specialist supports HR functions for a high-performing operation and reports to the Regional Manager of Human Resources. This position interfaces with station leadership in support of team members in areas related to attendance reliability, employee relations, labor relations and other HR functions. The HR Specialist delivers a high level of customer service to our Team Members by modeling McGee Air Services’ core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding employee information, Human Resources matters, investigations, and company business.
  • • Serve as a trusted HR resource by responding to Team Member inquiries and providing guidance on company policies, procedures, benefits, and employment-related questions.
  • • Partner with station leadership to support employee relations matters, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management activities.
  • • Support attendance and reliability programs by maintaining accurate records, preparing documentation, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and collective bargaining agreements.
  • • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with company standards and record retention requirements.
  • • Review, audit, and process HR transactions and personnel documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • • Partner with Recruiting to support hiring activities, including employment eligibility reviews and other pre-employment or internal movement processes.
  • • Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, separations, and return-to-work processes.
  • • Assist with airport badging and regulatory compliance requirements, ensuring employees maintain required credentials and access.
  • • Collaborate with Payroll, Operations, and Administrative teams to resolve employee record discrepancies and ensure accurate HR and attendance data.
  • • Assist with HR programs and projects including training initiatives, open enrollment, employee communications, and process improvements.
  • • Prepare reports, maintain tracking logs, and ensure timely completion of assigned administrative and compliance responsibilities.
  • • Build positive working relationships across departments while promoting an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing workplace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support successful station operations.
