This role is remote position, requiring up to 20% travel for internal and external events and meetings, and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What You’ll Do:

Customer Advocacy & Community

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer advocacy strategy to increase customer retention, acquisition and brand credibility in partnership with customer success, sales, marketing & product/platform development.
  • Manage the faculty, administrator and student advocate programs end-to-end, including recruitment, onboarding and ongoing engagement.
  • Organize and facilitate user forums, best practice sharing sessions, and ongoing advocate training and other thought-leadership events.
  • Partner with product & platform teams to involve advocates in beta testing, feedback sessions, and roadmap discussions.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customer champions and advisory board members and ensure we are fully leveraging their value.
  • Expand successful advocacy programs into new markets and opportunities.

Customer Storytelling & Content

  • Collaborate with other marketing leads to develop case studies, testimonials and videos highlighting advocate success stories.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand win/loss analysis and sharing success stories internally to help us further replicate what works.
  • Build online community and searchable tools for internal enablement.

Process, Measurement & Impact

  • Enhance scalable governance, workflows, and processes to further amplify a successful program.
  • Track and report advocacy KPIs to measure impact on engagement, pipeline, retention and sentiment.
  • Adjust priorities as needed to support high-impact advocacy initiatives and evolving business needs.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer advocacy, community management, customer marketing, technology marketing or related roles.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships – both internally through cross-functional collaboration but also experience working directly with customers.
  • Excellent storytelling, written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with autonomy and working at speed: proactive, decisive, and impact oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Strong business writing skills and experience with tools like PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SmartSheet, Salesforce.com, Marketo, Gainsight, Tableau, Asana and a variety of AI tools.
  • Familiarity with EdTech industry or experiencing working with faculty/educators strongly desired.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
