Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor ISO 22000:2018 food safety management standards across kitchens, production facilities and catering sites, ensuring compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations.
  • Maintain Food Safety Management Plans, HACCP documentation and Critical Control Point (CCP) monitoring, including temperature records, allergen controls, cleaning procedures and food traceability systems.
  • Coordinate food sampling, hand swab testing, laboratory analysis and internal/external audits, ensuring proper documentation, timely corrective actions and continuous quality improvement.
  • Conduct food safety inspections across production and catering operations, review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support hygiene compliance, incident investigations and staff food safety training.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Assurance, Food Safety or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in food quality assurance, food safety compliance, food manufacturing, central kitchens or catering operations.
  • Knowledge of ISO 22000:2018, HACCP principles, Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations and food safety management systems.
  • Familiarity with internal/external audits, food sampling, hygiene inspections, corrective actions and food traceability procedures; knowledge of Halal certification is an advantage.
  • Good communication, documentation and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and travel between assigned operational sites when required.
