About the Role

Are you a senior infrastructure specialist who thrives on solving complex problems in a 24x5 operation? We are looking for an L3 Specialist to provide third-level support for virtualized workplace environments built on Citrix (On-Premises and Cloud) and Microsoft Azure. You will handle escalated tickets, lead debugging and stability improvements, and help shape the architecture of our Citrix and Azure landscapes.

This role suits someone who wants hands-on ownership of critical infrastructure, works well with vendors and internal teams, and enjoys automating routine work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L3 support for Citrix and Azure environments, including incident and service request escalations
  • Build, maintain and upgrade Citrix and Azure infrastructure, including architectural changes across all landscapes
  • Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of complex Citrix and Azure issues
  • Manage vendor ticket handling with Microsoft, Citrix and HP
  • Monitor and patch infrastructure, and carry out periodic and emergency maintenance
  • Provide on-site hardware support for Client Virtualization infrastructure in Singapore, working with the local Data Center team
  • Automate tasks and package and deploy software using PowerShell, Ansible/AWX, Python and C#
  • Drive continuous service and stability improvements
  • Evaluate and test new Citrix and Windows client releases
  • Handle SSL certificates and profile management (Citrix UPM, Windows Roaming Profiles, MS FSLogix)
  • Contribute to knowledge articles and documentation, and hand over shift tasks clearly
  • Participate in technical sync calls, internal customer meetings and escalation processes

Working Hours

You will rotate across shifts to support our 5x24 operation model:

  • Shift 1: 08:00 to 17:00 SGT
  • Shift 2: 14:00 to 23:00 SGT
  • Shift 3: 23:00 to 08:00 SGT

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • More than 6 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years of Citrix administration and 2 years of Azure administration
  • Experience providing 3rd-level support for virtual workplace environments based on Citrix and Azure
  • Expert knowledge of Citrix, Microsoft Azure and Windows Operating Systems
  • Strong IT infrastructure knowledge: server hardware, networking, patching, authentication, policies
  • Experience working in a large organisation with globally distributed teams
  • Ability to think independently and resolve complex issues from multiple sources

Good to Have

  • Citrix Provisioning Services, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront and Citrix Cloud
  • XenServer or VMware
  • PowerShell (advanced scripting), Ansible/AWX, Chef
  • SCCM, SCOM, ITIL, SQL
  • Google Cloud Platform or multi-cloud platform experience
  • Monitoring tools such as Azure Insights, Uber Agent or Nexthink

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering
  • Professional certifications (Citrix, Microsoft Server or Azure) are desirable
