The role leads McKesson’s structured, year-over-year Compliance Program effectiveness assessment framework, providing an evidence-based view of program maturity, identifying improvement priorities, guiding remediation, and supporting credible engagement with regulators and other external stakeholders.

The Senior Director also leads key components of the Compliance function’s modernization. This includes translating the Enterprise Compliance technology strategy into a multi-year roadmap and leading the business transformation, process design, adoption, and value realization associated with McKesson’s evolving Compliance technology ecosystem. The role aligns Enterprise and Business Unit Compliance teams around scalable, technology-enabled processes and modern ways of working.

In addition, the Senior Director establishes and leads McKesson’s Enterprise Compliance Experience capability, shaping how Team McKesson accesses and engages with Compliance, how Compliance professionals perform their work and drive value across the enterprise, and how corporate functions and executive leaders’ partner with Compliance to advance organizational strategy. The role oversees the evolution of Compliance’s enterprise “front door,” including centralized monitoring of inquiries, concerns, requests for guidance, and other stakeholder contacts.

The Senior Director also provides strategic compliance support to designated corporate functions and their executive leadership teams. This includes serving as an additional Speak Up channel, providing insights and reporting related to compliance culture, supporting Compliance Council meetings, and helping leaders integrate compliance considerations into organizational priorities and decision-making.

This role influences senior leaders and partners across Enterprise and Business Unit Compliance, Technology, Legal, Human Resources, corporate functions, business teams, and external providers to simplify engagement, strengthen organizational trust, and build a Compliance function equipped for the future.

The Senior Director reports directly to McKesson’s Vice President, Enterprise Compliance (“VP”) within McKesson’s General Counsel Organization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading compliance program effectiveness, enterprise transformation, technology enablement, process modernization, stakeholder experience, and executive-facing compliance initiatives within healthcare, healthcare technology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly regulated organization. This individual must possess executive presence, regulatory credibility, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence senior leaders and drive sustained change across a highly matrixed enterprise. A demonstrated commitment to McKesson’s LEAD Rx behaviors, continuous improvement, innovation, collaboration, and people development is essential.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
