The posting

We’re currently seeking a Claims Specialist to join our Headquarters team! The Claims Specialist supports the organization’s risk management strategy by overseeing general liability claims arising from the company’s operations, facilities, employees, and auto physical damage incidents involving the company’s fleet. This role manages claims and incidents from initial notice through resolution in coordination with third-party administrators (TPAs), a third-party accident management partner, defense counsel, and internal stakeholders, ensuring they are handled efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with the company’s risk appetite, financial objectives, and loss prevention goals. What You Will Do: Corporate Claims Oversight

Act as the internal owner of liability claims, including bodily injury, property damage, and personal injury matters. Oversee claims administered by TPAs, including review of claim strategies, reserves, settlements, litigation plans, and compliance with service, quality, and cost expectations. Evaluate liability, damages, coverage, and contractual risk transfer exposures, and recommend resolution strategies aligned with corporate objectives. Identify and escalate high-exposure, catastrophic, reputational risk, fraud, subrogation, and recovery matters to Risk Management leadership as appropriate. Support insurance recovery efforts and assist with the administration of workers' compensation and first-party property claims.

Vendor Litigation & Auto Incident Management

Coordinate with in-house and defense counsel to manage litigated claims, including litigation strategy, settlement evaluations, discovery activities, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation. Oversee external service providers, including TPAs, investigators, experts, and accident management partners, to ensure quality, responsiveness, and cost-effective claim resolution. Manage auto physical damage incident activity, including repair estimates, total loss evaluations, documentation, repair cycle times, and vehicle downtime. Identify and escalate complex incidents involving significant exposure, liability concerns, or subrogation opportunities.

Financial & Regulatory Stewardship

Monitor claim reserves, large-loss development, and the financial impact of self-insured retentions and deductibles. Support budgeting, actuarial reviews, audits, insurer reporting, and other financial oversight activities. Ensure claim administration complies with applicable regulations, corporate policies, and governance standards.

Internal Collaboration Advisory & Continuous Improvement

Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders regarding claim trends, loss drivers, emerging risks, and risk mitigation opportunities.  Partner with Safety, Operations, Facilities, HR, and Legal to support investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and evidence preservation. Provide guidance on incident reporting, claim management best practices, and communication protocols.  Support loss prevention, enterprise risk management (ERM), benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives through analysis of claim and operational trends.

Note: The job duties above provide a general sense of the role; though, additional duties may be assigned as necessary. How You Will Shine: Education:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
