PEDIATRIC COMMUNITY OUTREACH LIAISON (VARIABLE HOURS)

Every day, pediatricians, developmental specialists, and childcare professionals meet families looking for answers, guidance, and support for their child's development. By building trusted relationships with these professionals, we can help more families discover autism services that make a meaningful difference in their child's life.

That's where you come in!

As MeBe's Pediatric Community Outreach Liaison, you'll spend approximately 15–20 hours per week out in the community building relationships with the professionals who support children with autism and other developmental or behavioral needs. You'll help them understand MeBe's ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy services, identify which children may benefit from our programs, and guide families toward the next steps in accessing care.

New to healthcare? We'll teach you! You'll receive paid training, mentorship, and hands-on experience in pediatric healthcare, autism services, community outreach, and business development.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE BEING PART OF MEBE

- Make a Difference for Children and Families: Help connect the professionals who support children with autism and developmental differences to services that can help them grow.

- Enjoy a Variable-Hour Schedule: Make a meaningful impact in your community while working approximately 15–20 hours per week, with hours varying based on outreach opportunities and business needs.

- Learn About Autism & Child Development: Gain valuable knowledge about pediatric therapy, developmental milestones, early intervention, and the challenges families may face when seeking care.

- Build Meaningful Community Relationships: Get to know pediatricians, psychologists, developmental specialists, and the office teams who help guide families.

- Get Paid to Learn & Grow: Receive hands-on training and mentorship while developing skills in healthcare outreach, relationship-building, and business development.

- Spend Your Working Hours Out in the Community: Visit pediatric practices, attend events, and build connections instead of sitting behind a desk all day.

- Take Ownership of Your Success: Plan your outreach activities, bring fresh ideas to your visits, and see how your efforts contribute to helping more families find care.

- Be Rewarded for Your Impact: Enjoy competitive hourly pay, bonus opportunities, and a supportive team that celebrates progress.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE PROFESSIONALS WHO SUPPORT CHILDREN

- Visit pediatricians, developmental pediatricians, psychologists, daycare and preschool directors, and other professionals who work with children with autism and developmental differences.

- Build trusted relationships with physicians, referral coordinators, schedulers, and other members of the care team.

- Educate providers about MeBe's ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy services and the children who may benefit from them.

- Help providers understand the referral process, current service availability, and what families can expect after reaching out to MeBe.

- Follow up consistently to strengthen relationships and help MeBe become a trusted resource for families seeking developmental support.

BECOME A RESOURCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY

- Learn about autism, child development, early intervention, and the role different therapies play in supporting children and caregivers.

- Share educational materials and resources that help healthcare professionals guide families through developmental concerns and treatment options.

- Assist with provider education opportunities, Lunch & Learns, and community events that build awareness of MeBe's services.

- Support the distribution of care updates and other resources that help referring providers stay connected to the children they serve.

- Listen to providers' questions and concerns, share feedback with the MeBe team, and help improve the referral experience.

OWN YOUR OUTREACH & GROW YOUR IMPACT

- Conduct outreach to assigned referral partners.

- Plan and organize provider visits, follow-ups, meetings, and community events around your assigned hours.

- Maintain a forward-looking outreach calendar to ensure consistent engagement with referral partners.

- Track your outreach, provider conversations, referrals, and follow-up activities in our CRM.

- Work toward goals for provider engagement, educational events, quality referrals, and new families connected to MeBe, appropriate to your scheduled hours.

- Partner with MeBe's Business Development and clinical teams to identify and support special projects that help grow referrals.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and is excited about making a difference in the lives of children with autism and developmental needs.

Maybe you've worked with children, studied psychology or child development, volunteered in your community, or are simply interested in starting a career in pediatric healthcare.

You don't need to be an expert in autism or therapy. What matters is your curiosity, compassion, ability to build relationships, and enthusiasm for learning.

REQUIREMENTS

- Genuine interest in autism, child development, pediatric healthcare, or supporting children and families.

- Confidence introducing yourself to new people and building professional relationships.

- Ability to stay organized, manage an independent schedule, and follow through on commitments.

- Availability to work approximately 15–20 hours per week, with hours varying based on outreach needs and scheduled community events.

- Comfortable learning technology, documenting outreach, and working toward measurable goals.

- Coursework or a degree in Psychology, Child Development, Healthcare, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is a plus, not required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
