Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Bus Mechanic

Location: Moree, NSW (Maury Area) Company: Leading Regional Bus Services Provider

Are you a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic with experience in bus maintenance? Join our dedicated team in Moree, NSW, and take on a rewarding role as the sole mechanic responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 18 Mercedes buses.

About the Role:

  • Perform regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of 18 Mercedes buses.
  • Provide occasional support to nearby towns with fleets owned by the same company.
  • Ensure all vehicles are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently to meet service requirements.
  • Work autonomously while managing the fleets mechanical needs, with support from a larger network when required.

What Were Looking For:

  • A strong background in heavy diesel mechanics is essential.
  • Experience working with buses, particularly Mercedes buses, is highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • The ability to work independently and take full ownership of fleet maintenance.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving mechanical issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the flexibility to assist in nearby towns when needed.
