  • Review client pre-screening information, complete appropriate nursing assessments, and identify any considerations related to vaccination or other planned services.
  • Provide client education regarding immunizations, including expected outcomes, potential adverse reactions, and appropriate post-vaccination care.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions, medical emergencies, or changes in a client’s condition that may arise in the clinic setting.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the clinical team to support the safe, efficient, and exceptional delivery of client care.
  • Monitor and support client flow to promote a timely and efficient clinic experience.
  • Provide nursing support across Medcan programs and services, including Annual Health Assessment, Year-Round Care, Pediatrics, immunization clinics, and other specialty services, as required.
  • Adapt to different clinic environments, workflows, and team needs while maintaining consistent standards of nursing practice and client experience.

What You'll Need:

  • Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • 1-5 years of nursing experience
  • Nursing experience in a primary care environment or acute care setting preferred
  • Good understanding of publicly-funded vaccine schedule and travel vaccines is an asset
  • Current CPR/BCLS certification
  • Superior verbal, written and electronic communication skills
  • Experience in travel health, occupational health and pediatric nursing preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and Word

This is a fixed-term, 12-month contract position scheduled between business hours Monday-Sunday. The role sits primarily at our Toronto Clinic at 150 York St. but requires flexibility to commute to any of our locations, on an as-needed basis.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
