Specific responsibilities include:

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to identify and resolve legal issues, using sound judgement and practical approaches. Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of an integrated business-legal team. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Experience & Qualifications We recognize that strong candidates may come from different professional backgrounds. We welcome applications from recent graduates and candidates beginning their legal careers. Previous in-house legal experience, PQE or commercial contracting experience is a plus, but not required.

An undergraduate law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification; OR have completed or are progressing through an LPC, SQE or equivalent pathway. A genuine interest in commercial law, technology and the way SaaS and cloud-based businesses operate. Some exposure to commercial or technology-related topics through university modules, internships, work experience, extracurricular activities or personal learning is helpful, but not essential.

Location   The role is remote based within the UK, with willingness and ability to travel to our Southampton office as needed.   We regret that we are unable to offer trainee solicitor positions, and any law graduate who has not fully qualified can only be employed as a Commercial Manager with the specific role and responsibilities adjusted accordingly.   Benefits:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
