Targeted Prospecting: Develop and execute a comprehensive prospecting strategy focused on priority markets and customers for APS, ensuring continuous pipeline growth and market penetration. Technical Sales: Translate customer requirements, engineering specifications, and application needs into compelling APS solutions in partnership with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other technical teams. Strategic Account Business Management and Growth: Develop and execute strategic account plans that protect existing business, expand revenue, deepen relationships, and identify new programs, applications, and cross-selling opportunities. Customer Relationship Management: Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers at medical device OEMs. Call points may include R&D, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and business leadership. Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed assigned new business and revenue targets by applying effective sales strategies, disciplined pipeline management, and strong execution. Market and Industry Expertise: Stay informed about customer needs, market trends, technological advancements, and the competitive landscape relevant to advanced plastics and medical device manufacturing. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams in Commercial, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance to evaluate opportunities, develop solutions, and ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction. Pricing and Proposals: Manage pricing and proposal activities, including new business quotes, existing business renewals, and price changes, while supporting competitive positioning and effective negotiations. Team Collaboration: Partner with Account Managers and other commercial stakeholders to coordinate strategic account priorities, advance growth strategies, and maintain alignment on business development goals. Environmental Working Conditions: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Field-based with home office flexibility. 25%-75% travel, depending on territory and account requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; a degree in a related technical or business discipline may also be considered.

A minimum of 5 years of business development, technical sales, or strategic account management experience within

plastics, medical devices, or a related manufacturing environment.

Proven success in generating new business, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth with medical device

Ability to understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, manufacturing processes, and customer

application requirements.

Expertise in managing high-value, complex client relationships and engaging technical leaders and senior

decision-makers.

Strong understanding of sales strategy, market execution, pipeline management, and the ability to lead cross-functional

teams to deliver results.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and technical selling skills. Highly motivated, self-driven, and capable of building strong relationships with customers and internal teams. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
