Cardiac/General Anesthesiologist 50/50 need; Level 1 Trauma Ctr in Washington, D.C.; high acuity includes LVADs, transplants & big aortas

We ar seeking a full-time Cardiac/General Anesthesiologist to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. This is a 50/50 split cardiac and general anesthesia opportunity.

MedStar Washington Hospital Center is a quaternary care center and Level 1 trauma center in the heart of Washington DC. Our Anesthesia department provides care in over 40 sites, including 30+ ORs, Endoscopy, EP Lab, and Labor and Delivery. We are a teaching institution and serve as a clinical site for anesthesia residency, SAA, and SRNA programs. The department is highly collaborative and focused on proving both excellent patient care and a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of practice.
  • Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.
