1. JOB DETAILS:
Position Title: Senior Treasury Accountant
Reports to: Treasury and Venture Manager
2. JOB PURPOSE:
To coordinate all day-to-day treasury operations related to, managing the investment portfolio by
assessing new investment opportunities, managing liquidity, companys bank accounts, deposit
placements, company corporate credit cards, hedging and managing financial risks etc., so that
Client and QVC funds are protected against any financial risks.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Description
Treasury Management
Monitor the companys cash position providing the Treasury and Venture Manager with daily cash
position report and recommending necessary cash management action.
Maintain companys proprietary investments portfolio deposits and carry out all tasks related to
booking, renewal, and liquidation of those investment.
Maintain companys loan portfolio and carry out all tasks related to recording, debt servicing and
settlement of any loans.
Maintain companys hedging portfolio and carry out tasks related to recording, prospective and
retrospective effectiveness testing, monthly marking to market and settlement.
Maintain companys Foreign Exchange SPOT transactions and carry out all related operations.
Book all Treasury transactions JV involving banks, deposits, FX, bank charges and interests to
ensure they are properly recorded and reconciled.
Verify/upload payment batches to e-banking gateways and daily foreign exchange rates received
from bank.
Verify receivables application, adjustments, and reconciliation as per client, QATOFIN and QVC
policies.
Banks Reconciliation
Complete bank reconciliations processes for all companies (client, QATOFIN and QVC).
Ensure that all reconciliations are performed accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining

consistency with treasury records.
Report and resolve discrepancies promptly with banks and other stakeholders to ensure the
integrity of financial data.
Relationships with Banks
Monitor the processing and issuance of checks and letters for bank transfers and drafts in order to
ensure activities are in line with the overall treasury plan and objective.
Manage banking transactions in line with organization policies and procedures and monitor balances
on a daily basis and provide recommendations for transfers between accounts to ensure maximum
cash use for client, QATOFIN and QVC.
Foster and build relationships with various banks to obtain favorable arrangements on bank
transactions ensuring the efficient cash use for client, QATOFIN and QVC.
Managing Stakeholders
Establish effective working relationships with banks, financial and credit institutions to pursue and
negotiate the securing of the companys planned financial needs in order to limit and cover the
groups exposure to underlying liabilities and assets.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions
so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are
adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental
compliance can be guaranteed.
Statements and Reports
Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet
department requirements, policies, and standards.
Prepare the Monthly Cash Flow Forecasting Report.

6. CONTEXT & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Role is required to monitor and implement client treasury operations which
involves managing short-term investments, since most of the long-term investment planning and funds
management is managed
8. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance or Professional Accounting qualifications like CA, CFA, CPA,
ACCA.
Minimum Experience:
5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in the Oil and Gas / Petrochemical industry is preferred.
Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical):
Advanced financial analysis skills.
In-depth and expert knowledge of financial planning and Treasury management standards.
In-depth knowledge of the financial treasury management theories and philosophy.
Strong understanding of the statutory and legal considerations.
Advanced knowledge of treasury accounting.

Excellent relationship building skills.
Advanced information system management skills, especially in relation to Treasury modules.
Key decisions having significant impact on the Finance Office Division are referred to the Treasury and
Venture Manager for approval before implementation
