Role Overview
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you own new-logo revenue end to end. You identify and open high-value enterprise opportunities, run the full consultative sale, and close. You win by understanding a customer's operation better than anyone in the room and showing them what becomes possible with MelodyArc.
You're a resourceful operator who pairs genuine selling ability with the strategic range to understand how a large enterprise runs, the product sense to shape a credible solution, and the drive to push every deal to a close. This is a doer's role first, you're here to get in front of customers and win business, working with our delivery teams to turn the opportunities you create into live, production deployments.
You will work directly with the Co-founder and Revenue Leader to integrate learnings into platform development and sales playbook processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the full consultative sale: discovery, mapping the buying committee, building executive trust, scoping value, and closing.
- With Revenue Leader, own new-logo revenue end to end including identifying, opening, closing, and implementing high-value enterprise opportunities.
- Translate a customer's ambiguous business problem into a clear, compelling solution and creating and navigating path from idea to stakeholder buy-in, design, and implementation.
- Partner with our Forward Deployed Engineers and Deployment Strategists to drive proofs of concept to conversion, production, and expansion.
- Build the repeatable sales motion: codify what works, and bring what you learn in the field back to shape the product and go-to-market.
- Grow first wins into land-and-expand relationships across new teams and use cases.
Basic Qualifications
- A deep understanding of how large, complex enterprises operate — how decisions get made, and where real value is created.
- A proven track record of originating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals — revenue you personally landed, not just supported.
- Consultative selling ability: you win by understanding the customer's problem better than anyone in the room.
- Strong product and systems thinking — able to translate an ambiguous business problem into clear requirements, success criteria, and a prioritized plan.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the executive presence to build trust and drive decisions with senior stakeholders.
- A builder's mentality — comfortable defining a motion from scratch in an ambiguous, early-stage environment, and willing to do the unglamorous work to land a deal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with, or experience working in, customer service operations, business-process operations, contact-center workflows, and similar functions.
- Experience as an early or founding commercial hire who built a sales motion from zero.
- Experience selling enterprise software, data, or AI/ML solutions into named accounts.
- Experience as a strategy or operations consultant.
- Prior experience in a founder, builder, or early-team capacity at a high-growth startup.
Compensation
This is a senior, salary-heavy role with a base salary of $150-$175K, meaningful equity, and benefits. Final offer may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.
Location
Remote (United States). Some travel to customer sites may be required.
