Job Description

Lead the execution and growth of Livestock Monitoring and Identification and Readers solutions in the private market across CENCA and Ecuador, ensuring effective portfolio deployment, distributor and channel activation, customer adoption, and disciplined commercial and technical execution. The position translates Regional and Global portfolio strategies into practical cluster plans, identifying priority customer segments, strategic accounts, growth opportunities, adoption barriers, and market-readiness needs. The role combines subject-matter expertise in Livestock Monitoring with responsibility for private-market Identification and Readers, including visual and electronic identification, RFID, data capture, traceability, and connected livestock solutions. Focused on cluster-level impact, the role works closely with distributors, commercial teams, Marketing, After Sales, Customer Support, technical resources, and Regional and Global teams to accelerate portfolio penetration and deliver consistent customer experience. The position promotes a unified customer view, identifying where Monitoring, Identification, Readers, data, services, and Biopharma can be combined into integrated solutions. The role is not responsible for the Official Identification Market, which remains under the direct accountability of the Technology Solutions Country Lead. The position supports the Country Lead with relevant private-market insights, customer needs, technology expertise, and distributor information when these may inform the broader identification strategy. Reporting Line: This position reports to the Technology Solutions Country Lead – CENCA & Ecuador.

Key Responsibilities:

Cluster Portfolio Execution: Lead execution of the Regional and Global Livestock Monitoring and private-market Identification and Readers strategies across CENCA and Ecuador, translating priorities into market initiatives, rollout plans, milestones, resource requirements, and measurable outcomes. • Commercial Growth: Identify customer segments, strategic accounts, portfolio opportunities, whitespace, and market barriers. Support the Technology Solutions Country Lead in building the commercial plan and delivering sustainable growth across Monitoring and private-market Identification. • Private-Market Identification Leadership: Lead the development of visual and electronic identification, RFID, readers, data-capture, traceability, and related private-market opportunities with producers, farms, distributors, integrators, and other commercial customers. • Livestock Monitoring Leadership: Provide cluster expertise for monitoring solutions, and the value enabled by connected livestock technologies.

Account and Opportunity Development: Support customer discovery, account planning, opportunity qualification, solution positioning, demonstrations, technical-commercial presentations, proposals, and value discussions in coordination with the accountable commercial resources. • CRM and Pipeline Discipline: Ensure leads, accounts, activities, opportunities, stages, values, risks, and next steps are visible and current in approved CRM or enterprise processes. Provide portfolio outlook and insights to the Technology Solutions Country Lead. • Integrated Customer Solutions: Identify opportunities to combine Monitoring, Identification, Readers, traceability, data, technical services, After Sales, and Biopharma offerings around customer needs and production outcomes rather than isolated products. • Customer Journey Collaboration: Work with After Sales and relevant Customer Success resources to support onboarding, training, adoption, utilization, customer-health visibility, value realization, retention, advocacy, and qualified expansion signals. • Customer Support and Technical Coordination: Coordinate with the After Sales Intern, distributors, technical resources, and Regional or Global Technology Support to ensure customer questions, installation needs, recurring issues, and escalation information are visible and routed appropriately. • Market Readiness and Launches: Support readiness for new products, technologies, pilots, and launches, including target customers, solution knowledge, distributor training, technical requirements, customer materials, implementation, support, and post-launch learning. • Capability Building: Build knowledge and proficiency across distributors, commercial teams, After Sales, and customer-facing resources through approved training, field coaching, demonstrations, technical materials, and practical learning. • Customer and Market Insights: Capture and communicate structured insights on customer needs, adoption barriers, distributor needs, competing solutions, implementation challenges, product performance, and growth opportunities to the Technology Solutions Country Lead and Regional and Global teams. • Resource and Governance Discipline: Use company and distributor resources effectively and ensure execution follows approved systems, product claims, commercial policies, technical standards, data requirements, and governance.

Performance Metrics and Management Cadence:

Portfolio Growth: revenue and growth versus agreed objectives; portfolio mix; new-customer acquisition; existing-customer expansion; performance by market, distributor, and solution category. • Pipeline and CRM Quality: qualified pipeline; coverage; conversion; stage and next-step completeness; forecast quality; lead follow-up; current account and opportunity data. • Distributor and Channel Execution: target-account coverage; training and proficiency; customer activities; technical readiness; action completion; support and escalation follow-through. • Livestock Monitoring: qualified opportunities; portfolio activation; active customers or sites; onboarding and adoption; utilization; customer evidence; technical and support readiness. • Private-Market Identification: qualified opportunities; sales and adoption of identification and reader solutions; distributor activation; customer coverage; traceability and data-capture use cases. • Customer Outcomes: onboarding completion; adoption or usability barriers identified; customer-health inputs; support themes; value evidence; retention and expansion signals.

Integrated Solutions: joint customer plans; cross-portfolio opportunities; customers adopting more than one Technology Solutions category; integrated-solution pipeline or revenue influenced. • Capability and Insights: training completion; distributor and internal proficiency; quality and timeliness of customer, market, technical, and product inputs; agreed actions completed. • Management Cadence: Participate in regular commercial, distributor, customer, portfolio, and After Sales reviews led by the Technology Solutions Country Lead. Maintain action plans with owners, due dates, and closure tracking. Final targets, market coverage, distributor expectations, and metric definitions must be agreed with the Technology Solutions Country Lead and aligned with cluster and Regional plans, available resources, and approved enterprise data sources. • Distributor and Channel Activation: Work with distributors and channel partners to establish account coverage, opportunity follow-up, product knowledge, technical readiness, customer engagement, installation coordination, and After Sales expectations. • Distributor Performance Support: Support regular review of distributor pipeline, forecast, account plans, commercial activity, customer adoption, technical capability, open issues, and agreed corrective actions. Escalate structural gaps to the Technology Solutions Country Lead.

Personal Skills and Characteristics:

• Customer centricity: understands customer needs, production routines, pain points, and adoption barriers and connects them to relevant portfolio solutions. • Commercial and results orientation: takes ownership of pipeline support, portfolio activation, customer follow-up, distributor execution, and agreed growth objectives. • Technical credibility: builds practical expertise across Livestock Monitoring, Identification, Readers, traceability, and connected technologies.

• Integrated-solutions mindset: connects portfolio elements and Biopharma capabilities around customer outcomes rather than individual products. • Distributor collaboration: sets clear expectations, supports capability building, follows agreed actions, and escalates performance gaps appropriately. • Analytical problem solving: uses customer, commercial, adoption, and technical information to identify patterns, risks, priorities, and actions. • Organization and execution: manages multiple countries, customers, portfolio priorities, and stakeholders with disciplined follow-through. • Communication and influence: explains technical and commercial concepts clearly and works effectively with customers, distributors, and matrix stakeholders. • Curiosity and learning agility: keeps current with livestock technologies, customer needs, data-enabled solutions, and market developments. • Ethics and integrity: follows company policies and governance, protects customer and company information, and uses approved claims and systems.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
