Wil je zeevrachtzendingen van begin tot eind in goede banen leiden? Als Freight Forwarder Zeevracht werk je in Schoten binnen de logistieke sector, met een hybride werkregeling.

Een schakel in de internationale logistieke keten

Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar klanten, rederijen en interne teams samenwerken om goederen op hun bestemming te krijgen.

Jouw rol in de praktijk

  • Je stemt dagelijks per e-mail en telefoon af met klanten, leveranciers en overseas agents en plaatst boekingen bij leveranciers.
  • Je beheert expeditiedossiers tot en met de facturatie, inclusief de opvolging en controle van leveranciersfacturen en het behandelen van betwistingen.
  • Je zorgt dat dossierdocumentatie, zoals waivers, vergunningen en certificaten, volledig is en interpreteert en verwerkt Letter of Credit-instructies.
  • Je maakt douane-instructies en -documenten op of controleert ze, en plant de benodigde transporten in.
  • Je volgt zendingen doorheen de volledige transportketen op tot ze hun eindbestemming bereiken.

Deze rol past bij je als je zeevrachtkennis graag combineert met heldere communicatie en een oplossingsgerichte aanpak.

  • Minimaal twee jaar ervaring als Freight Forwarder Ocean geeft je een stevige basis om je expertise in deze functie in te zetten.
  • IMDG, GDP en Incoterms zijn voor jou vertrouwde begrippen; je hebt er diepgaande kennis van.
  • Werkte je al met IRIS of CargoWise? Die ervaring is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je communiceert vlot en klantgericht, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, in het Nederlands, Engels en Frans.
  • Wanneer er iets anders loopt dan gepland, blijf je oplossingsgericht en stressbestendig.
