STARTING RATE: $12.00 + Tips MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 21 years old LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: S. Nevada Health District Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Card. JOB SUMMARY: The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes, company standards, and applicable liquor laws. This position creates a welcoming atmosphere for guests by delivering prompt, friendly, and attentive service; accurately processing orders; assisting with food service when required; and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area. The Bartender must consistently promote a positive guest experience while supporting department and company service standards. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: One year previous experience as a bartender is required. Previous food server experience preferred. Must possess a working knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service practices. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Must demonstrate dependability, initiative, adaptability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be available to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Greet and acknowledge all guests promptly, professionally, and courteously.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages using approved recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar, service stations, storage areas, and surrounding work areas.
Verify guest age and identification in accordance with company policy and state liquor regulations, and monitor alcohol consumption and exercise responsible beverage service practices, refusing service when appropriate and notifying management as needed.
Account for and reconcile all cash, credit card, comp, and other transactions in accordance with company procedures.
Stock and replenish bar supplies, glassware, garnishes, and inventory as needed to ensure operational readiness.
Comply with all company policies, health and sanitation regulations, safety procedures, and departmental standards.
Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance when necessary. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as kitchens, restaurants, bars, coolers, offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, residences, and commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with kitchen equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire, health and safety regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated. The work environment involves exposure to secondhand smoke in a casino. This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
