The posting

Meta's Infrastructure organization is responsible for designing, building, and operating one of the world's largest data center networks. As a Staff Business Operations professional embedded within the Infrastructure Data Center (IDC) organization, you will drive operational strategy, planning, and execution across a global portfolio of hyperscale data center facilities. In this role, you will define how the organization measures success, allocates resources, and navigates complex cross-functional dependencies — translating infrastructure capacity goals into actionable operational frameworks that scale with Meta's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the operational strategy for the Infrastructure Data Center organization, including long-range planning, and portfolio prioritization across global programs
  • Lead annual and semiannual planning cycles for the IDC organization, including budget forecasting, resource allocation, and goal-setting processes aligned to infrastructure capacity roadmaps
  • Design and implement operational rhythms — including business reviews, program status cadences, and escalation protocols — that improve organizational decision-making velocity
  • Identify systemic inefficiencies in data center operations workflows and lead initiatives to standardize processes across regions and facility types
  • Translate ambiguous infrastructure strategy questions into structured analytical frameworks, synthesizing inputs from engineering, finance, and real estate to drive decisions
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to IDC leadership, preparing briefing materials, decision memos, and narrative documents for executive and cross-functional audiences
  • Build and execute upon a review structure of high-priority workstreams, ensuring a sensible cadence, coaching on pre-reads, tracking of action items, and dissemination of outcomes
  • Draft internal communications on behalf of org leaders, including long-form posts and live presentations. Follow up diligently on action items and review outcome
  • Prepare briefing documents for executive leadership reviews. Coordinate and prepare pre-read materials, daily briefings, and week-ahead summaries for executive review
  • In partnership with Infra Internal Comms, draft and manage internal communications on behalf of organizational leaders, including long-form posts and live presentations, reorganization announcements and Q&As
  • Drive strategic internal initiatives and ensure progress on priority workstreams, help build decision-making frameworks and deliverables
  • In partnership with the admin team, we will lead the planning and execution of all-hands and offsite events
  • In partnership with HR, build and execute upon an onboarding structure that enables new hires to ramp up efficiently and effectively

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience with program management, project management, strategy, management consulting, finance, or operations
  • 2+ years of experience supporting senior executives, directors and above as a program manager or Chief of Staff
  • Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen
  • Effective prose and clear presentation skills with a high level of craftsmanship
  • Experience in problem-solving both individually and in a group setting. Proven track record of organizing, developing, and executing strategy projects that deliver results
  • Experience operating autonomously and in a highly organized fashion to track top organizational priorities, identify efficiencies and drive alignment across teams
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into action
  • Experience with Microsoft and Google Suites, advanced skills in Excel. Experience in navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • BA/BS degree in science, business, or finance, or an MBA
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
