The posting

Meta is seeking a Content Policy Manager to shape how we think about actor, behavior and platform integrity - defining the policies, frameworks, and guardrails that govern how accounts, pages, groups, and new products operate across our platforms.

As a Policy Manager, you will work closely with a number of other teams across Meta, including Product, Global Operations, Legal, Communications, and Public Policy teams. The work spans policy counseling for new product launches, counseling on appropriate integrity safeguards, shaping governance frameworks for AI-driven content moderation, and driving clear, well-structured decision-making across leadership and cross-functional partners. You will also support escalation coverage, election readiness, and crisis response when needed. At times, you will be expected to make difficult decisions, within tight timelines and competing priorities.

A successful candidate writes with precision and clarity, distills complex trade-offs into actionable recommendations, and brings experience in building durable frameworks that hold up within tight timelines. You should be comfortable naming risks explicitly, assessing impacts on free expression and safety, and driving alignment across teams with competing priorities. Given the demands of policy escalations, the candidate will sometimes be expected to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, or weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to assess policy risks in new launches, tests, and product changes — defining safeguards, flagging tradeoffs, and clarifying escalation paths before features reach users
  • Own policy counseling for actor-level enforcement, assessing proposals for impacts on free expression, safety, and enforcement precision — ensuring risks are surfaced early with clear guidance for operations and integrity teams
  • Shape governance and policy frameworks for AI-driven content moderation to ensure defensibility and accuracy at scale
  • Establish and refine processes for cross-functional approvals and leadership review — preparing clear recommendations, quantifying impact, and accelerating alignment on high-stakes decisions
  • Support escalation coverage and on-call rotation, making rapid, defensible policy decisions under time pressure
  • Contribute to election readiness and crisis response efforts, coordinating with integrity and legal teams as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., public policy, law, political science, communications, or a related discipline)
  • 8+ years of experience in content policy, trust and safety, platform integrity, or a related field
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams to deliver impact without direct authority
  • Track record of making high-judgment decisions, with the judgment to know when to escalate
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with potentially sensitive or objectionable topics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting election integrity or crisis response operations at a technology platform
  • Experience in platform governance or content moderation at a large-scale technology platform
  • Experience communicating complex policy positions clearly and succinctly in writing to technical, operational, and executive audiences
  • Experience assessing policy tradeoffs across free expression, safety, and product goals - and translating those assessments into clear recommendations
  • Experience developing frameworks for AI-driven or automated decision-making systems
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to define policy requirements for new product launches or feature tests
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
