The posting

The Finance & Business Planning (FBP) team is the strategic engine behind Meta’s bold investments. We oversee the company’s entire budget and drive data-informed decisions that shape the future of Meta and our family of products. As number-crunching innovators, we uncover trends, identify opportunities, and power the insights that guide Meta’s most important strategic choices. We combine financial discipline, analytical insight, and business partnership to support Meta’s priorities

At the forefront of this mission is our Infrastructure FBP team. Our investments in infrastructure are foundational to enabling the next generation of artificial intelligence technologies, including superintelligence, we are set to transform how billions of people experience our products and services.

We’re looking for a skilled Finance Manager who can connect day-to-day financial performance with longer-term business decisions. You will own planning and analysis for a portfolio of our Compute & Infrastructure business activities, build financial models, and turn complex operating inputs into clear recommendations. Your work will span core FP&A and strategic finance, including budgeting, forecasting, investment analysis, and business decision support. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who brings sound financial judgment, curiosity, and a clear point of view. You will build depth in your coverage, and help the team develop repeatable processes and practical uses of AI and automation. Infrastructure experience is helpful, but we welcome candidates from other industries who can learn a complex business and apply strong financial fundamentals.

Responsibilities

  • Own annual planning, forecasting, and financial performance reviews for your areas of responsibility within our Infrastructure portfolio. Translate business priorities into clear plans, assumptions, and deliverables
  • Operate with a deep understanding of core FP&A planning principles, processes, and deliverables such as budgeting, forecasting, annual planning, accruals and close, variance analysis, approvals, and reporting
  • Build and maintain driver-based financial models that connect operating activity to expense, capital investment, and cash flow, as relevant to your portfolio. Reconcile inputs and explain changes from prior plans and actual results
  • Evaluate investment proposals, business cases, and commercial opportunities using scenario analysis, return on investment, unit economics, and total cost of ownership, as appropriate
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and resource trade-offs. Develop actionable recommendations rather than reporting results alone
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to challenge assumptions constructively, align on the inputs, and support decisions through execution
  • Write concise decision memos and financial narratives that explain the recommendation, supporting evidence, key uncertainties, and next steps. Present findings to finance and business stakeholders
  • Improve the planning, reporting, and analytical processes. Partner with accounting and data teams to strengthen reconciliations, data quality, and traceability from source inputs to financial outputs
  • Use AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve analysis, with appropriate validation of outputs and protection of company data
  • Share models, document business context, and coach teammates so that knowledge and coverage extend beyond a single owner

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in FP&A, strategic finance, business finance, business strategy, strategy consulting, investment banking, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience in independently owning planning, forecasting, or financial analysis workstreams and managing multiple priorities against high-level goals
  • Experience building spreadsheet-based financial models and translating open-ended business questions into structured analyses, scenarios, and recommendations
  • Understanding of financial statements and the relationship between operating performance, investment decisions, and cash flow
  • Experience in combining and validating data from multiple sources, identifying financial or operational drivers, and explaining variances
  • Experience building relationships with business partners and influencing decisions across functions
  • Experience communicating financial analysis and recommendations through clear, written documents and presentations
  • Ability to work independently with limited guidance, across multiple time zones with both finance and key cross-functional business partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with long-range planning, capital allocation, commercial analysis, or evaluating business cases under uncertainty
  • Experience preparing materials for VP-level or C-suite reviews
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Master's degree in business, finance, accounting, management, or a related field
  • Experience in infrastructure, cloud services, hardware, manufacturing, or another capital-intensive or operationally complex business
  • Experience applying AI tools or automation to financial analysis, reporting, or planning, with demonstrated attention to output quality
  • Experience in a high-growth or technology-focused business, particularly in supporting engineering, product, or operations teams
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Experience with Financial systems (e.g. Essbase, Oracle Financials), dashboard reporting tools (i.e. Tableau) and SQL

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
