The posting

This role within the Edge and Network Services (ENS) Foundation Design team offers an opportunity to tackle the challenges of introducing innovative compute and networking technologies across Meta's global data centers and edge presence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Network and Hardware Engineering, Connectivity Hardware Engineering, Data Center Connectivity, Facility Engineering/Operations, and Site Operations to execute and support ENS's new product introduction process, ensuring that new technologies can be deployed and managed at scale. Your focus is on the operational readiness validation of network hardware within integrated AI and network system rack infrastructure, along with the structured cabling and passive rack-integration products that support it. You will ensure the ENS deployment and operations processes and tooling are well-defined and executable for these technologies. This role requires 15-20 percent travel based on project demand.

Responsibilities

  • Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and ENS operational readiness validation workflows for new network platforms and topologies, and network-related components for AI training and inference infrastructure
  • Perform ENS operational readiness validation for NPIs owned by Connectivity Hardware Engineering, including structured-cabling products and passive rack-integration products (e.g., custom rack bracketry and related infrastructure), in addition to network platforms and topologies
  • Assess how cabling, rack-integration, and network platform products behave across server-, rack-, and multi-rack-level integrations (L10/L11/L12), identifying dependencies where a change at one level affects deployment or operability at the next level
  • Contribute to team roadmaps and goals that align with the current business priorities and organizational strategy
  • Drive improvements in technical references, NPI process, and deployment/operations documentation standards in support of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate across ENS, Network/Hardware Engineering, Connectivity Hardware Engineering, Site Operations, and other cross-functional partners to align on product readiness and deployment strategies
  • Facilitate clear communication of technical requirements, operational readiness risks, and escalations to leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Influence hardware and infrastructure design to ensure seamless integration of new products into the ENS deployment and operations processes
  • Publish NPI-related technical references, processes, and training documentation for global deployment and operations teams
  • Build and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and vendors

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise network deployment, operations, and site services infrastructure
  • 6+ years of experience designing, deploying, and operating LAN, WAN, and wireless network environments at scale across multiple physical sites
  • Experience with data center structured cabling and fiber-optic network infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of rack-level integration and passive infrastructure (bracketry, mounting, cable management) and its deployment/operations implications
  • Experience leading incident response and troubleshooting for network outages in enterprise environments
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams, including facilities, site operations, and infrastructure engineering teams
  • Experience with network configuration and provisioning automation using scripting languages such as Python

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading large cross-functional projects in a global, matrixed environment with limited supervision
  • Experience in introducing new network solutions and managing NPI projects, with a focus on meeting timelines and delivering at scale
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact, with ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Experience in adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of TCP, IPv4/6, routing protocols, and related network services
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NICs, optical transceivers, AOC, and DAC for high-speed interconnects
  • Experience with leading network technologies throughout the hardware product development lifecycle (Concept, EVT, DVT, PVT, and MP) using OEM, ODM, and JDM sourcing options
  • Experience with network architectures for high-bandwidth, low-latency applications and integrated AI training/inference rack equipment
  • Familiarity with system-integration interdependencies across server, rack, and multi-rack build levels (L10/L11/L12) for integrated AI rack infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
