The posting

Meta's Infrastructure organization provides the backbone on which the company operates — and today, this importance is significantly amplified by the vision of advanced AI capabilities. As a Product Manager on the Supply Planning And Capacity Ecosystems (SPACE) team, you will build products, tools, and policies that enable compute infrastructure to scale efficiently, supporting the massive demand powering our social media products and AI initiatives.

Capacity is a company investment priority and strategic differentiator. You will plan and optimize infrastructure resources, set capacity targets, and drive cross-functional teams — spanning engineering, data science, finance, supply chain, and data center construction — to meet those targets.

This highly visible role spans executive-level engagement and offers the opportunity to build lasting systems at industry-leading scale. The team values collaboration, mentorship, and cross-functional problem-solving. If you're excited by navigating complex tradeoffs and shaping infrastructure strategy during transformative shifts, you'll thrive here.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify the important problems to solve (e.g. competitively, strategically, for customers, and in support of company goals)
  • Build a coherent strategy and roadmap for addressing these issues with measurable objectives
  • Facilitate the flow of information between everyone involved and create consensus around a vision, priorities and decisions
  • Drive, track, and document progress against roadmaps
  • Define a high standard of quality for product area and hold teams accountable to that bar
  • Make the larger org and all of Product Management better by supporting recruiting initiatives such as interviewing
  • Operate in varying degrees of ambiguity
  • Build a strong bottoms-up culture where teams are able to advocate and pursue robust points of view while at the same time seeking consensus
  • Flexibility to adjust to top line company priority shifts
  • Scope: Responsible for resolving conflict and driving strategic escalations between competing priorities. Introduces new products or new thinking that can change the trajectory of the company. Regularly addresses highly ambiguous problems by identifying actionable paths forward and recommending tradeoffs
  • Oversight: Effectively drives progress with little to no direct involvement from leadership. Proactively resolves product, cross-product, cross-functional disagreements and ambiguity - sought after as an escalation point
  • Leadership: Helps identify, frame, justify, and build entirely new focus areas, working across large groups of people (30+), often within an org. Capable of re-framing large problems towards a quicker path to success. Creates consensus across difficult and contentious issues across many teams with appropriate use of escalation, and is often sought after as an escalation point. Routinely lobbies for and wins resources for strategic priorities. Rapidly changes course for projects that aren't on a path to success; effective at shutting down or re-orienting efforts that are not on track to deliver expected outcomes
  • Coordination: Regularly leads complex and ambiguous cross-functional initiatives. Regularly initiates and improves x-org projects and strategic initiatives
  • Broader Impact: Consistently makes proactive organizational or process changes that have an org-wide impact. Key contributor to long-term organizational planning across functions. Consulted on team/recruiting decisions across roles; helps recruit and close key hires

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years Product Management and/or Product Design
  • 10+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
  • Experience navigating through the full product life-cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization, and pre/post-launch execution
  • Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
  • Experience presenting to executive audiences
  • BA or BS in Computer Science or a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Experience developing product solutions for analytical modeling of supply chain and capacity decision making
  • Deep background in data center infrastructure, capacity planning, server demand planning, or supply chain management for technology companies. Candidates with capacity management experience from adjacent domains (e.g., cloud, networking) will also be considered

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
