The posting

Meta's Corporate Responsibility & Non-Financial Reporting (CRNFR) team owns Meta's non-financial regulatory reporting, from determining what Meta must disclose to producing the reports themselves. We are building an AI-enabled, end-to-end reporting workflow, with centralized non-financial disclosures at its core driving consistency across regulatory and compliance obligations.

This role owns the front end of that workflow: determining what Meta must report, where, and by when. As the Regulatory Reporting Applicability Specialist, you will scan the horizon for emerging global non-financial reporting requirements, own the entity-by-jurisdiction obligations register as the team's source of truth, and lead the scoping and impact assessments that Legal, Finance, and CRNFR rely on to resource and execute reporting.

You will map common requirements and language across regulatory reporting frameworks and voluntary reports so a disclosure built once can be reused, consistently and auditably, wherever it is required. You will set the methodology for scoping assessments, advise Legal and Finance on complex applicability questions, and bring recommendations that earn their leaders' buy-in. You will also partner with CRNFR teammates who produce jurisdiction-specific reports, and use AI tooling to scale regulatory monitoring, analysis, and tracking. Your work will enable Meta to make timely, consistent, and defensible reporting decisions across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entity-by-jurisdiction obligations register as the team's source of truth: monitor emerging global non-financial reporting requirements and track what applies, where, and by when
  • Define the methodology and criteria for applicability analyses, and lead analyses that determine which entities, jurisdictions, and requirements are in scope and which reports and disclosures Meta must produce; recommend scoping decisions to Legal and Finance and gain buy-in from their leaders
  • Break down complex, loosely defined requirements into scoping and disclosure risk assessments, using entity and reporting data to assess applicability, timelines, and data and methodology implications that inform content development, resourcing, and implementation
  • Build and maintain the evidence base behind scoping decisions so they hold up to internal review and external assurance
  • Map new requirements against Meta's existing disclosures and the frameworks behind them (e.g., CSRD/ESRS, ISSB-based standards, SASB, GRI) to identify where content can be reused and where gaps require new work, so each disclosure is built once and stays consistent and auditable across jurisdictions
  • Use AI-enabled tools to scale regulatory monitoring, analysis, and obligation tracking; validate AI-generated outputs to assurance standards; and share what works with the team
  • Advise Legal, Finance, and other partners outside the team on complex regulatory requirements, translating them into clear, actionable guidance
  • Contribute to setting the team's reporting goals and roadmap by surfacing upcoming obligations and their resourcing implications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in law, policy, business, sustainability, finance, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in non-financial or sustainability regulatory reporting, regulatory change management, or related advisory work at a multinational company, law firm, or advisory firm
  • Familiarity with Workiva, ISSB-based global standards, GRI, and regimes such as UK SECR and U.S. state climate disclosure laws
  • Working knowledge of mandatory and voluntary non-financial reporting frameworks such as CSRD/ESRS and ISSB, with experience mapping requirements across frameworks
  • Experience working with external advisors on regulatory readiness and risk, and with assurance providers on non-financial controls
  • Experience influencing decisions across functions without direct authority, using data and evidence, including reviewing SME work product and giving constructive feedback
  • Experience preparing narrative and quantitative disclosures, including documenting assumptions, boundaries, and calculation approaches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in legal, policy, finance, or sustainability studies
  • Experience independently delivering an end-to-end workstream, with directional guidance from leadership and review at key milestones
  • Experience producing disclosure content, scoping or impact-assessment memos for Legal, Finance, or compliance audiences
  • Experience conducting applicability and scoping analyses across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, including assessing data, content, and methodology implications
  • Experience using AI tools to scale or improve regulatory or reporting workflows, including validating AI-generated outputs
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Experience owning a multi-jurisdiction regulatory obligations register or tracker as a source of truth
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience translating regulatory requirements into documented processes, controls, and evidence suitable for external assurance

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
