Metals USA Flat Rolled Group, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Loader for our Liberty, MO location. Metals USA is a leading metals processor/distributor in North America, providing a wide range of carbon steel products and services. Requirements:

  • Previous operation of material handling equipment is required
  • Overhead Crane experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and write legibly and
  • Must be able to interpret and have good math skills
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment
  • Work accurately and in a safe manner.

Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Verify all material is properly identified and packaged
  • Make final inspection prior to the loading of customer material onto the truck
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed
  • Load trucks using necessary forklifts or other lifting equipment
