  • Analyze mission, operational, and technical requirements and translate them into system-level requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture, interface documentation, technical requirements, and other systems engineering artifacts.
  • Evaluate system designs to ensure technical requirements, performance objectives, security requirements, and customer needs are met.
  • Collaborate with software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and testing teams throughout the system development lifecycle.
  • Support system integration activities across hardware, software, networks, applications, and external interfaces.
  • Identify and troubleshoot complex system-level issues and coordinate resolution across technical teams.
  • Participate in requirements reviews, design reviews, technical interchange meetings, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
  • Evaluate proposed system changes and assess potential technical impacts, dependencies, and risks.
  • Support verification and validation activities to ensure system requirements are satisfied.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, interface descriptions, procedures, and engineering reports.
  • Assist with system deployment, configuration, upgrades, and operational readiness activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to program leadership and customer stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and system performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, or related technical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with requirements analysis, system design, integration, testing, or system lifecycle activities.
  • Experience developing and maintaining system requirements and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting the integration of software, hardware, infrastructure, networks, or other technical components.
  • Understanding of systems engineering principles and the system development lifecycle.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and software development teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development or engineering environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a collaborative technical team.
  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED; successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Desired Qualifications

  • Active SECRET security clearance; active TS/SCI preferred
  • 8+ years of systems engineering, systems integration, or related engineering experience.
  • Experience serving as a senior Systems Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer, or technical lead.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
