The Senior Accountant will own the development and maintenance of accounting policies, ensure compliance with GAAP, and drive global consolidation and acquisition integration activities.

This position reports to the Director – Financial Reporting & Global Consolidations and will have significant exposure to the CFO and senior leadership. Beyond traditional accounting responsibilities, this role provides opportunities to contribute to executive-level communications through the preparation of financial analyses, presentation materials, and business performance insights used in discussions with senior leadership and key external stakeholders.

Work Arrangement: This position is hybrid in Moon Township, PA, which is preferred; however, remote candidates who are able to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours will also be considered.

What You’ll Do: • Prepare and manage external reporting packages for lenders and private equity stakeholders in compliance with GAAP and debt covenant requirements. • Develop financial analyses, presentation materials, and supporting schedules for executive leadership. • Support the communication of financial results, business performance, and key accounting matters to internal and external stakeholders. • Research complex accounting transactions and prepare detailed technical accounting memoranda, including matters related to business combinations, debt and equity arrangements, and other significant or non-routine transactions. • Develop, maintain, and update corporate accounting policies to support compliance with GAAP and industry best practices. • Drive the global consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and the integration of newly acquired entities. • Participate in monthly close activities for key corporate areas, including debt, reserves, and stock-based compensation, ensuring accurate reconciliations and analysis. • Prepare debt covenant calculations, quarterly and annual lender reporting packages, and supporting schedules. • Coordinate with external auditors on technical accounting and financial reporting matters. • Contribute to internal control activities, including documentation, testing, and reporting. • Identify opportunities to improve accounting and financial reporting through automation, data analytics, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled tools. • Assist with special projects, financial and informational requests, and strategic initiatives as needed.

What You Need to Succeed: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience in public accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, or a combination of public accounting and industry experience. • Active CPA license preferred. • Public accounting experience preferred, but not required. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles. • Experience researching complex accounting matters and preparing technical accounting memoranda. • Ability to communicate accounting conclusions and policy guidance to stakeholders throughout the organization. • Experience coordinating audit requests, preparing supporting documentation, and working with external auditors. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of management. • Self-motivated with a demonstrated interest in process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled finance tools. • Experience with consolidations, acquisition accounting, or the integration of acquired entities is preferred.

Compensation: The approximate compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. This compensation range is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
