Vanuit hun Belgische vestiging ondersteunen zij innovatieve projecten met een wereldwijde impact. Om hun verdere groei te ondersteunen, zijn zij op zoek naar een Accountant-Controller die zich op langere termijn mee wil ontwikkelen binnen de organisatie.

Jobomschrijving

In deze functie combineer je de verantwoordelijkheid over de volledige boekhouding met een sterke focus op controlling en analyses. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Finance Director van de divisie.Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten onder andere:

  • Volledige A-Z verantwoordelijkheid over de algemene en analytische boekhouding
  • Eerste aanspreekpunt voor financiële vragen binnen de business unit
  • Samenwerken met externe adviseurs rond subsidies, fiscaliteit en wettelijke verplichtingen
  • Uitvoeren en coördineren van maand- en jaarafsluitingen
  • Opstellen van jaarrekeningen en fiscale aangiftes (BTW, Intrastat, statistieken, vennootschapsbelasting)
  • Ondersteunen van externe audits
  • Assisteren bij budgetopmaak, forecasting en variantieanalyses
  • Opstellen en opvolgen van korte- en middellange termijn cashflowprognoses
  • Voorbereiden van balansreconciliaties
  • Analyseren van financiële resultaten en vertalen naar bruikbare business inzichten
  • Actief identificeren en implementeren van procesverbeteringen om de kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid van financiële gegevens verder te verhogen
  • Nauwe samenwerking met Corporate Finance en de operationele teams.
  • Bachelor of Master in een economische, financiële of boekhoudkundige richting
  • Minstens 5 à 6 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen accounting, controlling of audit
  • Ervaring in een internationale omgeving is een belangrijke troef
  • Goede kennis van analytische boekhouding en financiële rapportering
  • Vlotte kennis van het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Sterk analytisch inzicht en een kritische blik op cijfers
  • Proactieve teamspeler met een hands-on mentaliteit
  • Leergierig en ambitieus om verder door te groeien binnen een internationale organisatie
  • Sterke affiniteit met ERP-systemen en Excel; ervaring met Business Central is een plus
  • Interesse in digitalisering, automatisering en AI-tools
