The posting

About Microblink and the opportunity:

Microblink builds the AI that tells businesses who, and increasingly what, they are dealing with online. Our identity technology (BlinkID, BlinkID Verify, BlinkCard) runs in thousands of apps worldwide, and the Microblink Platform brings it together into end-to-end identity verification flows.

The next frontier is trust in AI agents. As agents start to open accounts, make payments and act on behalf of people and businesses, companies need to know which agent they are talking to, who stands behind it, and what it is allowed to do. Our Know Your Agent (KYA) products answer that question, built on the same identity foundation as the Platform.

We are hiring a Director of Product to own the vision for the Platform and KYA, and to run the product organization day to day as the VP's second in command.

The role:

This role has two halves, and we need someone excited by both.

  • Vision owner for Platform and KYA. You define where these products go over the next two to three years, turn that into a roadmap teams believe in, and make it real with engineering, design, go-to-market and customers.
  • Second in command for Product. You run the operating rhythm of the product organization: planning, prioritization, delivery, cross-functional alignment and people. You are the person teams go to when something needs a decision today, so the VP can stay focused on company-level strategy, the portfolio and key external relationships.

You will act on the VP's behalf when they are away, represent Product in leadership forums, and be trusted to make calls without escalating them.

What you'll do:

Set the vision for Platform and KYA

  • Define a clear, opinionated product vision and strategy for the Microblink Platform and the KYA product line, and how they reinforce each other.
  • Shape the KYA category: how agents are identified, linked to a verified human or business, authorized and monitored, and where Microblink should lead.
  • Track the market closely: identity verification competitors, agentic commerce and payments, emerging standards and regulation (eIDAS 2.0, AI Act, KYC/AML rules).
  • Turn strategy into a roadmap with explicit bets, trade-offs and success metrics, and keep it current as the market moves.
  • Spend real time with customers and partners, and bring their problems back into the team as product decisions.

Lead product delivery

  • Lead and grow the product managers working on Platform and KYA; hire, coach and hold a high bar.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design leaders to ship on time with quality, from discovery through launch.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Solutions and Customer Success on positioning, pricing, launches and enablement.
  • Own product metrics for your area (adoption, conversion, revenue contribution, reliability) and act on them.

Run day-to-day product operations as second in command

  • Own the product operating cadence: quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, prioritization forums, release readiness and business reviews.
  • Keep cross-functional work moving: unblock teams, resolve conflicts on priorities and resourcing, escalate only what truly needs the VP.
  • Build and improve product processes and tooling (PRDs, discovery, feedback loops, roadmap communication) so the organization scales without adding bureaucracy.
  • Handle customer and internal escalations that need a product decision.
  • Prepare and present product updates for the leadership team and board materials as needed.
  • Deputize for the VP of Product in meetings and decisions when needed.

What you bring:

Must have:

  • 10+ years in product management, with 3+ years leading product managers.
  • A track record of setting a product vision and taking it to market, ideally including a new product or category from zero to revenue.
  • Deep experience with B2B platform or API/SDK products sold to enterprises and developers.`
  • Strong operator instincts: you have run planning cycles, built product processes and kept multiple teams aligned.
  • Comfort with technical depth: you can debate architecture, ML/AI capabilities and security trade-offs with engineers.
  • Clear, structured communication with executives, customers and teams, in writing and in person.
  • Sound judgment and the trust to make decisions on the VP's behalf.

Nice to have:

  • Background in identity verification, KYC/AML, fraud prevention, fintech or payments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI agents, agentic commerce, authentication or authorization standards (OAuth, verifiable credentials, digital identity wallets).
  • Experience working across distributed teams in the US and Europe.
  • Experience at a scaling company where you helped build the product function.

Here’s what you’ll gain if you join us:

  • Become part of a global B2B SaaS identity company where your contributions truly make an impact.
  • Enjoy flexible work arrangements - work remotely, hybrid, or from one of our offices, depending on your preference.
  • Unlimited PTO to support work-life balance.
  • Region-specific benefits tailored to your location.
  • Equity.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
