Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineering Summer Intern to join our development tools team in Trondheim during the period of June 1st to Aug 31

What You Will Do

As a summer intern, you will participate in the development of the MPLAB for VS Code ecosystem, with responsibilities that may include:

  • Design, implement, and test new features for our VS Code extensions.
  • Develop functionality using TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern development frameworks.
  • Improve the usability and developer experience of our tools.
  • Investigate and resolve software defects.
  • Develop automated tests and contribute to software quality improvements.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
  • Good programming skills in at least one modern programming language.
  • Understanding of fundamental software engineering concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in learning new technologies and development tools.
