Software Engineer, New Grad – Gem.com Gem is building the future of recruiting technology, and we’re looking for passionate new grads to join our engineering team. As a Software Engineer at Gem, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to ship impactful features, solve real customer problems, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You’ll Do: Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team stand-ups Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code Learn and grow through mentorship, feedback, and hands-on experience What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (graduating in 2025) Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go) Eagerness to learn new technologies and take on challenges Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bonus Points: Internship or project experience in web development or SaaS Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Interest in recruitment technology or building AI-powered tools Why Gem: Fast-growing company with a mission-driven team Opportunity to make an impact from day one Competitive compensation and benefits Flexible work arrangements, including remote options Supportive culture focused on learning, growth, and inclusion Ready to start your career at Gem?
