The posting

Milacron is looking for a Welder to join our team in Mt. Orab, Ohio. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing carbide clad, steel, cast iron, aluminum, and stainless-steel materials and parts for welding, while performing high-quality gas and arc welding on components requiring critical strength and precision. Work You’ll Do:

Prepare carbide clad, steel, cast iron, aluminum, and stainless-steel materials and components for welding operations. Perform gas and arc welding on materials of varying thicknesses. Complete welding assignments where finished welds may be subjected to critical stress conditions. Execute welds in all positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead. Weld fabricated parts according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Inspect materials and completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with requirements. Maintain adherence to established welding procedures and safety standards. Use welding equipment and tools effectively to achieve high-quality results. Support production goals by completing assigned work accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with Group Leads and team members to ensure product quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications:

Experience performing gas and arc welding on a variety of materials. Ability to weld steel, cast iron, aluminum, stainless steel, and carbide clad materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Experience welding in all positions, including overhead and vertical. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Previous manufacturing or industrial welding experience preferred.
