The posting

Milacron is looking for a Barrel Cell - CNC Operations II - 1st Shift FMS Mag to join our team in Mt Orab, Ohio. In this position, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC milling machines to shape and cut metal materials, ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards while supporting manufacturing operations on first shift. Work You'll Do:

Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design schematics to understand machining requirements. Select, install, and verify the appropriate tooling and equipment for machining operations. Adjust machine settings, including speed, feed rates, and cutting paths, to achieve required specifications. Monitor machine performance throughout production runs to ensure proper operation and minimize errors. Inspect and measure completed parts to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. Perform routine maintenance and basic machine care to support equipment reliability and safety. Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues as they arise during production. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards. Collaborate with team members and leadership to support production goals and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

High school diploma with 1+ years of machining experience, certificate from a machining program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Currently enrolled in a bona fide technical program if a current high school student. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, handle materials, and perform other physical requirements associated with manufacturing operations.
