At Milan Laser Hair Removal, we're not just transforming skin—we're transforming confidence. As the nation's largest laser hair removal provider, we're built on a culture of excellence, innovation, and delivering a world-class experience for both our clients and our team.

We're looking for a Director of Enterprise PMO who is a strategic thinker, strong people leader, and passionate about turning business priorities into results. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and helping teams successfully execute complex initiatives in a fast-paced, growing organization.

You'll work closely with executive leadership and teams across Milan to strengthen enterprise planning, improve project execution, and ensure our most important initiatives are aligned with business priorities.

About the Role

The Director of Enterprise PMO leads Milan's Project Management Office and plays a critical role in how enterprise initiatives are planned, prioritized, executed, and communicated across a multi-unit organization.

You'll lead and develop a team of project managers, partner with senior leadership on annual enterprise planning, and build the systems, processes, and reporting that provide visibility into organizational priorities and project performance.

This role requires someone who can balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution, navigate competing priorities, and bring clarity to complex business challenges.

Status: Full-time | Salaried

Location: Omaha, NE | On-Site

What You’ll Do

PMO Leadership & Project Execution

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of project managers, establishing clear expectations around performance, project ownership, stakeholder management, and professional development.
  • Oversee the day-to-day effectiveness of the PMO, ensuring projects are managed consistently, stakeholders are prepared for change, and initiatives are successfully implemented.
  • Continuously improve project management standards, tools, and practices to strengthen execution, organizational readiness, and successful implementation.
  • Maintain visibility across enterprise initiatives, helping teams navigate risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and barriers to execution.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and problem-solving across projects of varying size and complexity, from smaller process improvements to major enterprise-wide initiatives.

Enterprise Planning & Prioritization

  • Partner with senior leadership to support annual enterprise planning, translating strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and improve enterprise prioritization and capacity planning practices, helping leaders make informed decisions about organizational resources, competing priorities, and business impact.
  • Create visibility into the full scope of organizational initiatives, identifying cross-functional dependencies, resource constraints, and competing demands that may impact execution.
  • Use portfolio insights, business priorities, and lessons learned to inform ongoing planning, prioritization, and future strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with leaders across departments to align business needs, strategic priorities, and organizational capacity.

Portfolio Visibility & Governance

  • Lead enterprise project governance, including Steering Committee meetings, prioritization discussions, decision tracking, escalation, and accountability for follow-through.
  • Establish consistent reporting and communication practices that give senior leadership clear visibility into project progress, milestones, risks, resource needs, and decisions required.
  • Translate complex project and portfolio information into meaningful insights, recommendations, and presentations that support executive decision-making.
  • Develop and strengthen KPIs and reporting practices to measure project outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and highlight enterprise accomplishments.
  • Strengthen accountability and alignment across departments by ensuring clear ownership, timely decisions, and consistent follow-through on enterprise commitments.

PMO Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Build and continuously improve the systems, workflows, tools, and standards that support effective project and portfolio management across the organization.
  • Partner with departments to connect project management tools with other business systems, creating greater alignment and visibility into enterprise initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to simplify workflows, reduce manual work, and improve efficiency and execution.
  • Introduce best practices, scalable solutions, and process improvements that strengthen organizational effectiveness and advance the maturity of Milan's PMO.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project, program, or portfolio management, PMO leadership, or enterprise operations.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives with senior and executive leaders.
  • Experience building or maturing prioritization, capacity planning, governance, and annual planning practices.
  • Experience connecting strategic planning to enterprise execution.
  • Hands-on Smartsheet experience, including building and administering portfolio-level sheets, reports, and dashboards, required.
  • PMP or comparable project/program management certification required.
  • Strong communication, coaching, relationship-building, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Strong business acumen, systems thinking, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

What Sets You Apart

  • You connect big-picture strategy with practical execution.
  • You coach and empower teams to succeed.
  • You bring clarity to complex priorities without unnecessary process.
  • You influence leaders and build cross-functional alignment.
  • You are strategic and willing to jump in to solve problems.
  • You look for better ways to work through systems and technology.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
