The posting

We are recruiting for an energetic, team-oriented, and entrepreneurial Social Impact Associate to join our team in Vancouver. Our Charities and Not-for-Profit Group operates one of the most sophisticated practices of its kind in Canada, providing voluntary sector organizations with creative and practical advice tailored to their unique needs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact as part of a busy and collaborative team. Our clients are a diverse group of charities, not-for-profits, associations, clubs, and religious organizations (among others). We take the same value-added approach to each one, catering to each organization’s individual needs.   The members of our team are recognized leaders in the sector, having written and published extensively on charity and non-profit law, including tax, trust, governance and related issues. We speak regularly at all major Canadian legal and sector conferences pertaining to charities and not-for-profits. Our lawyers are active in policy work and government relations on behalf of the non-profit sector.   The successful candidate will have:

2+ years of charity/non-profit or tax experience. A license to practice in BC. Proven client and file management skills. Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills. An entrepreneurial attitude.

Interested candidates with a desire to work with a national team, participate in complex files and develop their own practice should apply in confidence.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
