Position: Quality Technician

Shift: Day Shift

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications
  • Mark items with details, such as grade or acceptance-rejection status
  • Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
  • Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems
  • Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Related experience or vocational training.
  • Hand to eye coordination.
  • Technical capacity.
  • Ethical conduct.
  • Willingness to support other departments.
  • Team oriented.
  • Maintain good attendance.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, in excess of 8 hours.
  • Life and/or carry at least 50 pounds.
  • Frequent walking, reaching with hands and arms; stooping, bending, twisting, squatting and kneeling.
  • Moderate to high noise level.
