The posting

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our dealership team. The Sales BDC Representative is responsible for generating sales appointments, responding to internet and phone inquiries, following up with prospective customers, and creating a positive customer experience that drives showroom traffic and vehicle sales.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, professional, and enjoys communicating with customers by phone, email, and text.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to incoming internet leads, phone calls, texts, and other customer inquiries.
  • Contact prospective customers to identify their vehicle needs and schedule sales appointments.
  • Follow up with unsold showroom traffic, internet leads, and previous prospects.
  • Confirm scheduled appointments and encourage customers to visit the dealership.
  • Set a target number of quality sales appointments each day.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, notes, and activities in the CRM system.
  • Monitor lead response times and follow dealership follow-up procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the dealership professionally.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive sales, customer service, call center, or BDC experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound phone calls and handling incoming inquiries.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership CRM software.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, and a strong desire to succeed.

Performance Expectations

The successful candidate will be measured on:

  • Number of appointments scheduled.
  • Appointment show percentage.
  • Lead response time.
  • Customer engagement and follow-up activity.
  • Sold appointments and sales generated.
  • CRM accuracy and completion of assigned tasks.

Schedule
