Buscamos un Machine Learning Engineer que se sume a nuestro CoE de Data & Analytics para evolucionar una solución crítica de optimización matemática y analítica prescriptiva que soporta decisiones comerciales de planificación, promociones y asignación de ofertas.¿Cuál será su reto?Comprender integralmente la solución, su arquitectura y su lógica matemática y de negocio; liderar su reingeniería y refactorización; e implementar nuevos requerimientos funcionales acordados con negocio, asegurando que cada cambio sea mantenible, testeable, trazable y consistente con el modelo de decisión.

Tus principales responsabilidades serán:

  • Analizar y documentar el código, la arquitectura y el flujo end-to-end del optimizador.
  • Diseñar y ejecutar una refactorización incremental que mejore modularidad, legibilidad, testabilidad y performance.
  • Traducir reglas y requerimientos de negocio en diseños técnicos, código, configuraciones y criterios de aceptación.
  • Implementar requerimientos funcionales de complejidad baja y media de manera autónoma, y participar en el análisis e implementación de cambios de mayor complejidad matemática o algorítmica, en coordinación con el equipo de Data Science.
  • Crear pruebas unitarias, de integración, end-to-end y de regresión para proteger el comportamiento validado.
  • Optimizar pipelines de procesamiento de datos, uso de memoria, APIs y tareas asíncronas. Participar en code reviews, UAT, diagnóstico de incidencias y despliegues.
  • Comunicar y escalar oportunamente riesgos, dependencias y decisiones técnicas.

¿Qué necesitamos de ti?

  • Profesional de Ingeniería de Sistemas, Software, Computación, Industrial, Ciencia de Datos, Investigación de Operaciones, Matemática o carreras afines.
  • Experiencia comprobable en software engineering, data engineering o machine learning engineering; idealmente 3 años o más.
  • Dominio avanzado de Python y experiencia refactorizando código productivo o desarrollado por terceros.
  • Conocimiento sólido de pruebas automatizadas, Git, pull requests y code review.
  • Experiencia trabajando con APIs, procesos batch, Docker, CI/CD y servicios cloud, idealmente AWS.
  • Capacidad para traducir reglas complejas de negocio en implementaciones verificables.
  • Comunicación clara, autonomía, rigurosidad y anticipación a riesgos.
  • Nivel alto de inglés, trabajamos en proyectos internacionales.
  • Nuestro formato de trabajo es híbrido, por lo que necesitamos que residas en Lima.
