Job Title: Security

Scope: Maintains safe and secure environment for guests andassociates by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting interior and exterior of the building, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. Maintains a “can do” and a “guests first” attitude at all times; customer service mindset. Resolves guest complaints to the satisfaction of the guest; responds promptly to any guest request for service. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures. Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls. Maintains hotel's stability & reputation by complying with legal requirements. Controls traffic by directing drivers/valets guest’s vehicles. Obtains emergency assistance by sounding alarms. Able to perform Housekeeping and Maintenance duties when requested. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Works as a member of the overall hotel team to ensure that each guest has an experience that exceeds their expectations Arrives at work in a timely fashion in accordance with the posted schedule. Abides by established uniform guidelines. Attends scheduled training sessions within the hotel as dictated by the brand and the hotel management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or greater

Experience: Minimum of year (2) years’ experience in security. Hotel or Retail experience a plus.

Certification: Preferred, but not required.

Skills: 1. Surveillance, Judgment, Integrity, and Objectivity Skills

2. Ability to problem-solve and multi-task

7. Reporting Skills

8. Read, write, and understand English
