We are seeking a dynamic and high-performing Sr. Account Manager to drive client success through exceptional account leadership, operational excellence, and strategic partnership. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between clients, account teams, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution, strong client relationships, and achievement of business objectives. Reporting to the Account Director, you will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven solutions and support client growth. This is a hybrid opportunity.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with strong project management and client services experience. They understand account operations, communicate effectively across teams, and proactively identify opportunities to improve client outcomes while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients with varying levels of complexity, scope, and allocation while balancing competing priorities and delivering exceptional client service.
- Serve as a primary client contact, leading meetings, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring alignment across internal and client teams.
- Demonstrate expertise in operational processes, ensuring seamless execution and serving as a trusted advisor to account teams.
- Own revenue forecasting and opportunity management, ensuring forecast accuracy and proactively communicating risks and opportunities.
- Anticipate client needs, identify risks and growth opportunities, and support the development of strategies that drive long-term client success.
- Lead client business reviews and translate performance insights into actionable recommendations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client solutions, oversee deliverables, and manage change requests and proposals.
- Drive account planning activities, including account reviews, stakeholder mapping, and account health assessments.
- Foster strong client relationships that support customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
- Provide proactive communication that drives alignment, manages expectations, and mitigates risk.
People & Team Leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams to foster collaboration and successful account outcomes.
- Engage clients through regular updates, performance discussions, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class work in a productive and collaborative environment.
- Support team members and contribute positively to team culture and morale.
- Build trust and credibility through operational excellence and accountability.
- Continuously strengthen business acumen and technical expertise through training, coaching, and professional development.
Business Development & Financial Management
- Identify client needs, business challenges, and growth opportunities, escalating potential expansion opportunities to leadership when appropriate.
- Lead Statements of Work (SOW) renewals, change orders, and related contractual processes in partnership with clients and internal teams.
- Support account growth through market research, strategic analysis, and business development activities.
- Manage account financials, including forecasting, revenue recognition, invoicing, collections, and overall account health.
- Leverage Power BI and financial reporting tools to analyze trends, communicate performance insights, and support business decisions.
- Monitor deal economics and proactively identify risks, variances, and optimization opportunities to improve account performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5-7+ years of experience in client services, account management, or a combination of agency and relevant client-side experience.
- 5+ years of experience collaborating with remote and distributed teams.
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships, navigate complex situations, and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with financial forecasting, revenue management, and account operations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
The annual salary range for this position is $82,000-$100,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
