Industrial Maintenance Technician – Heavy Industrial / Steel – 2nd Shift

$34.00–$36.00/Hour | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–11:00 PM | Some Overtime Available

MLB Workforce is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a heavy industrial/steel operation in San Antonio.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Heavy industrial or steel experience – REQUIRED
  • 480V electrical troubleshooting – REQUIRED
  • Industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial equipment
  • Preventative and corrective maintenance experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Overhead crane maintenance
  • Diesel mechanic experience
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Motors and industrial controls
  • Forklift/heavy equipment maintenance

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
  • Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment

INTERVIEW & SKILLS ASSESSMENT

The interview will include testing of your technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their knowledge of 480V electrical systems, industrial maintenance, mechanical systems and equipment troubleshooting.

POSITION DETAILS

Pay: $34.00–$36.00 per hour, based on experience Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM Schedule: Monday–Friday Overtime: Some overtime available Location: San Antonio, TX Job Type: Full-TimeIf you have proven heavy industrial or steel maintenance experience and strong 480V troubleshooting skills, we want to hear from you.
