About the Role at Mobai

Build the future of secure digital identity.

As a Junior Mobile Developer at Mobai, you'll be at the forefront of digital identity innovation. We're looking for a passionate and eager-to-learn individual to join our small, focused Biometrics team. Your work will have a tangible impact, contributing directly to our mobile apps and SDKs that underpin secure biometric and identity verification solutions for regulated industries like banking.

You'll collaborate closely with experienced developers and product teams, expanding your skills across modern mobile stacks (iOS, Android, React Native). You will be crafting developer-friendly SDKs that make it easy for customers to integrate our cutting-edge biometric solutions with a great end-user experience, finding ample opportunities to learn fast and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

Your contribution will directly impact our products and customers.

Contribute to building and improving our core mobile apps and SDKs across Android, iOS, and/or React Native.

Turn product requirements into well-structured features, working alongside senior developers and the product team.

Help maintain high code quality through rigorous clean code practices, code reviews, and comprehensive testing.

Debug issues, optimize performance, ensure stability and improve device/OS compatibility.

Write and maintain clear, developer-friendly documentation for our SDKs and mobile components.

Stay updated with mobile platform developments (iOS/Android) and help us adapt our solutions accordingly.

Based in Gjøvik, with hybrid flexibility.

Our offices are in Gjøvik and Oslo. This role is based in Gjøvik, where you’ll work closely with our biometric team. We offer flexibility in where you work, but prioritize being together in the office during your initial growth phase (1-2 years).
