About This Position

Igloo Products Corp. is an iconic, fast-growing American brand known for its exceptional and durable coolers designed to meet everyday needs. For more than 75 years, Igloo has been a leader in the housewares industry and has evolved into a high-growth lifestyle brand, inspiring outdoor experiences centered around fun, family, and friends.

Founded in 1947 as a metalworking shop that brought fresh cold water to Texas workers in the field, and later inventing the Playmate, Igloo has grown into America’s most recognizable brand of ice chests. The Igloo story spans more than 75 years of delivering coolness to the world. Today, Igloo has over 90% brand awareness, is #1 in market share in the U.S., and is a pioneer in sustainability within its category through the launch of biodegradable coolers and products made with post-consumer recycled resin and other sustainable materials. Igloo also has a growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) business, allowing us to build direct relationships with our consumers. In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands, creating the opportunity to globally grow both brands together.

The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will lead enterprise planning, forecasting, performance management, and decision support, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing finance, cost accounting, plant performance, and margin expansion. This leader will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Product Development, and the divisional controllers to translate operational drivers into financial outcomes and actionable business decisions.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director will establish rigorous planning and reporting processes, strengthen product and manufacturing cost visibility, and provide forward-looking insights that support profitable growth, cash generation, and disciplined capital allocation. The role requires a hands-on finance leader who can operate strategically while maintaining command of plant-level economics and accounting fundamentals.

  • Develop product, customer, channel, and SKU profitability views that reflect manufacturing complexity, freight, sourcing, and cost-to-serve.
  • Support make-versus-buy, sourcing, network optimization, footprint, automation, and capital expenditure decisions through robust financial analysis and post-investment reviews.
  • Establish consistent plant KPIs and dashboards to identify cost reduction, working capital, throughput, and margin improvement opportunities.

Reporting, Controls, and Performance Management

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting packages, including consolidated operating results, financial position, KPI trends, and concise variance explanations.
  • Ensure monthly results are loaded accurately into Dometic consolidation and reporting systems and that reporting aligns with Dometic financial standards.
  • Work closely with divisional controllers to maintain clear ownership between FP&A, cost accounting, and financial accounting activities.
  • Strengthen data quality, reporting automation, and management dashboards to create a reliable and scalable source of financial and operational insight.
  • Provide timely communication and escalation of performance issues, forecast changes, control concerns, and emerging business risks.

Commercial and Strategic Decision Support

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Product Development on pricing, promotions, customer economics, new product introductions, and portfolio decisions.
  • Provide detailed analysis of gross margin, contribution margin, freight, rebates, discounts, and cost-to-serve by customer, channel, and product.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
